Engineering, Evolved
AI Handles the Waiting. Engineers Handle the Engineering.
Triangle Structural Engineering is using artificial intelligence to make customer service faster and more accessible. The engineering itself is still performed by licensed Professional Engineers - because when it comes to your home, judgment and accountability matter.
What our AI can do
Our AI-powered agents are designed to remove friction around the engineering process - not to replace the people who do it.
Answer common questions
Explain our services, turnaround times, pricing ranges, and what to expect during a structural inspection - any time of day.
Help schedule site visits
Collect your address, timeline, and the type of concern so we can route your request to the right engineer quickly.
Point you to the right resource
Direct you to guides, checklists, glossary terms, or the right service page for your specific situation.
What AI will never do
We are clear about the limits. These are engineering decisions, and they require a licensed Professional Engineer.
- -Inspect a foundation, crawl space, or wall
- -Diagnose cracks, settlement, sagging, or moisture damage
- -Recommend repairs, contractors, or remediation scopes
- -Stamp reports, letters, or engineering plans
- -Estimate the structural capacity of a beam, footing, or framing system
- -Replace the professional judgment of a licensed PE
The PE Promise
Triangle Structural Engineering is a licensed North Carolina Professional Engineering firm (Firm Number: P-3406). Every structural inspection, every stamped report, and every engineering opinion is performed by a licensed Professional Engineer. AI helps us communicate and coordinate. It does not help us engineer.
Common questions about AI at TSE
Will AI perform my structural inspection?
No. Every inspection is performed by a licensed Professional Engineer on site. AI may help schedule the visit or answer questions before and after, but it does not inspect, diagnose, or stamp anything.
Does AI write your engineering reports?
No. Reports and stamped letters are written, reviewed, and signed by a licensed Professional Engineer. AI may assist with formatting or administrative tasks, but the engineering findings and professional opinion are solely the engineer's responsibility.
Why use AI at all if the engineer does the work?
Real estate and homeownership do not follow business hours. AI gives customers faster access to information and scheduling assistance, while our engineers stay focused on engineering, inspections, and report delivery.
Is my information safe with AI-assisted customer service?
Yes. We follow standard privacy practices and do not use AI to make engineering decisions or store sensitive inspection data beyond what is needed for scheduling and communication. Engineering files remain under our firm's control.
